This is my first time eating here, which is terrible considering I'm married to a Firefighter, and I am so glad I decided to try it today!!! I had a Steak and Cheese Sub and it was soooooo good! I will most definitely be coming back here again!!!!

No vegan options in this day an age. A sandwich shop with no veggie burger or hummus. Places need to realize that even if they don't sell a lot of veggie burgers if there is say a party of 6 people and one is vegan and wants a veggie burger the entire party just might try another sandwich shop that can accommodate their veg friend.

Wow!! Service in Hallandale is horrible . We've got the M&M of order takers. Other stores aren't like this. Pines , Plantation , Miramar . Great! They have a hood feel here. Ouch :(

I love this place. I wish there was one closer to my home, but luckily I got the options whenever I travel to Ft Lauderdale. The NY Steamer is my favorite sandwich and I have tried to recreate in other places closer to home, but sadly it is never as good as Firehouse. If you live near one, consider yourself extremely lucky. Staff is great at every location I have ever tried. The owners/founders are ex-firemen so get out there and support them and all their efforts. These guys run tons of sponsorships for local charities. Great business.

The sandwiches here are very good! I feel it is better than Jersey Mikes and Subway.

Excellent service from the cashier. The guy making my order was OK, but slow as molasses. And they weren't busy. I get that this chain prides themselves on large portions, but 3 oz of meat in a GIANT bowl of lettuce isn't really my thing, especially for $8.00. And can they offer more than literally .5 (that's half!) an ounce of salad dressing for a salad that is easily 32 oz?!

Fire House Subs has been around for some time, I am not sure how I have not been in before now to try a cheese steak sub. When it comes to subs, cheese steak is the hoagie of hoagies! This location was very clean; the counter service was fast and above all very friendly. While it is counter service people still came to my table to ask me how my meal was and if they could get me anything. Now on to the meat and potatoes (HAHA get it meat, oops no potatoes), I ordered a regular steak and cheese with mushrooms. The size of the sandwich is perfect for lunch; it doesn't leave you feeling stuffed and bloated from eating a huge portion. The bread was soft and not too heavy. The meat, cheese and mushrooms were great. The meat appeared lean; the plate wasn't covered in grease after the end of my meal. The mushrooms were fresh and made my sandwich one of the best steak and cheese hoagies I have had in a long time. For a sub chain, I would put this at the top of my list!

I didn't get exactly what I ordered. Quality was still there. Not exactly filling though, I'm a big eater so I could whack two of these sandwiches and still be hungry. Average person would be content (not full) with one of the sandwiches, thank god five guys is right next door.

It's a sub sandwich chain, supposedly started by a group of firemen who used to enjoy making subs while at their firehouse, hence the name, some of the bright red fire truck colors, a few firemen's hats, raincoat décor and some red plastic buckets for sale. The interior is bright, clean and cheery with a wide selection of potato chips plus a big line of various hot sauces for customers to add on to whatever they may order. I had their meatball sub which came in a sub sandwich roll, meatballs, red sort spaghetti type of sauce cover by a melted cheese and I must say it was very good. Overall Firehouse Subs is a rather up scale semi boutique sub shop superior to Subway or Miami Subs, pretty much on the same order of things along with that chainy like atmosphere.

The food is absolutely great! I'm from California and I wish they had one of these near me. I got the Italian and it was perfect. The soda machine is cool too, except the cherry lime aid just taste like overly sweetened cherry kool aid. I had to add lots of ice and limes to it. The service seemed a little off- perhaps new employees? Not sure but could use some improvement. That's the reason I have 4/5 stars. Would definitely recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!

Great sandwiches. Price is good. Good variety. Beef brisket with Cheddar cheese is great. Not a large selection of bread though...

Stopped by this location whilst in vacation in Florida. Great sub at a fair price and far superior to other sandwich chains like Subway. Service was a bit slow-it took around 15 minutes to get my order despite the fact there were 3 employees working and I was the only customer. Overall great food and I would recommend

Stopped at this location around 5pm and service was fast, had the #4 Italian sub, it was excellent in taste and portion size. Never been to a Firehouse sub store before and is much better than Subway! Highly recommend!

Friendly service and i'm a fan of the freestyle coke machines. overall though, i think firehouse subs are just quizno subs under a different name. nothing real special. i do love the extensive selection of hot sauces.

I hadn't had Firehouse Subs in a few years, but I had fond memories of visiting them in Tallahassee during college and also in the Orlando area. Stopped in today and picked up 4 subs to bring back home for the crew. Even though 3 of the subs were special order instead of just getting them "fully involved" (w/ all the dressings), they managed to get the order exactly as I asked for it, were very nice and the subs were ready in a few minutes. The other 3 people I got subs for had never had Firehouse and they enjoyed the sandwiches a lot. This place is so much better than your average chain sub shop. I don't know why anyone would hit a Quizno's or Suckway with a Firehouse Subs nearby. Good stuff!

There are so many sub places these days it is almost like a pizza joint on every corner. Let's get to the positives: the people behind the counter had smiles though the cashier could have been a little more helpful to obviously 2 new people, the place was exceptionally clean, the food wasn't bad. The negatives; the food wasn't bad! With all the sub places a franchise has to offer something extra.. This was okay but that's not good enough for a fast food place. What got us there was a coupon that gave free chips and a 22 ounce drink for free when you bought any sub or $2 off a medium or large sub combo. I judge certain type restaurants by specific items and the first thing I will order is a turkey sub with lettuce, tomato, onions and mustard. They offered it on whole wheat or rye and I took the wheat. With the coupon my lunch cost $6.04 including the soda and chips which is a fair price but without the coupon it would have been $8.23 With the variety of breads, a larger sub I'll stick to Subways when I want a fast food sub.
